I found this site, pencil rebel, through newwebpick.com. There is a quite a blend of styles on that showcase, but I was immediately drawn to click on this intriguing clay character. Wow, what an amazing site. It's animated with Flash, that's the digital part, but all the backgrounds, objects, characters are made by hand with cardboard and various other materials, very analogue.

It's basically a game, the character (Bert) has to find clues to move from one room/level to another. Very clever, engaging, and lots of fun. It took me about 30 minutes to complete the game. The creator, Grzegorz Kozakiewicz (he calls himself model No. 1) made a "making of" video. A great idea, I love watching "making of"s. You can really see the amount of crazy work it took to build something like this. All I can say is, chapeau.
